Survival stuff...part 19?

If you're not familiar with the show duel survival, it's a great show. The hosts were both chosen because they'd already cultivated a following on the net. Here's one of the hosts in his original environment with a genius idea for modding a slingshot.

Weight is an issue on long trecks. Here's a good sight for information and a video that explains what they are about.

(Note: I don't get sponsored by any of the sites I recommend. I'm as likely to recommend a site by someone I've never met as by a close friend. It's all about performance.)

Camping Tips

This could get overwhelming because I'd really need a wiki just to showcase the research I've gathered on cool camping ideas, but as the good weather will soon be upon us I thought I'd post a couple resources to get us thinking about out door adventure.

First is a camping check list since I find that I always forget something if I don't work off a list.

Next is a way to modify a tent to work more the way most of us camp.

As always, if you want to read about someone who does more than his share of outdoor adventuring, read my dark fantasy novel, "Suffering Rancor" available wherever books are sold.
