Fun, Amazing, Etc.

This is the official blog of indie author / adventure writer Andy R. Bunch, author of the fantasy book, "Suffering Rancor." As always, I'll post funny or amazing things I find in my travels or from poking around online. This is a great place to kick back and relax a bit. You may note that I’m not too clean or too dirty. Fun with English part 3

Another interesting one from

Putting two words together to make a new word is a portmanteau. For example, "Internet" is a portmanteau of "interconnected" and "networks". Lewis Carroll coined the term in Through the Looking Glass. The poem Jabberwocky contains a number of portmanteaus, such as "slithy", meaning "lithe and slimy". "Portmanteau" is a kind of suitcase, and the book describes a portmanteau word as "two meanings packed in one word".
